About me

hmmm. i like little, hole-in-the-wall restaurants where i can get a cup of coffee and sit and think for a few hours without having anyone else bother me. (thanks, Bill's Grill #3 in Temple, TX) i like riding my bike to the park on sunday morning while a lot of people i know are going to church. (yep, i'm a heathen *wink*) i like staying up late to watch french movies in the comfort of my own home no matter how small my television set is at least i dont pay obsenely out the proverbial whazzoo for a large coke and popcorn. i like going to shows. i like attempting to "solve the world's problems" on the back patio at my parent's house. (thanks mom & dad, for the food for my stomach and the food for my brain) i like spending time with my family and friends, but my alone time to think and work on projects is very important to me. i like playing the bass guitar for Waking Johnny (check out our myspace page... yes, we are still working on the record... hopefully, we'll be coming to a club near you in june) i have not worked on any in a while, but i enjoy various visually artistic pursuits. (perhaps, it is time) i (sometimes) like sobriety, but it has (always) been rewarding (so far). i like coffee... just coffee... not $5 "java" from a "java house" (mom, please disregard my "java" comments when giving out gift certificates to starbucks at christmas time.) i like being an uncle and brother. (i've got a cool sis and bro-n-law with two kiddoes, who are equally cool)

About my collections

i was forced to sell off a large portion of my CD collection a couple of years ago--a necessary evil, i assure you. not a day goes by that i don't regret my decision. i'm slowly rebuilding the collection. i have always enjoyed shopping at used CD stores; there are some really good one around the Austin area. shopping used is more like treasure hunting.
